The challenge: address a real, life-threatening gap in emergency infrastructure — and build a product that could actually work.

You get an alert, now what?
No directions. No nearest shelter. No route.
This isn't a rare edge case — it's how every major emergency notification system works today.

Serendipity is a short film exploring the tension between control and letting go. The project began with the concept of playing cards, which led me to investigate themes of chance, struggle, and release. The story follows a lone character on a journey toward a goal - facing obstacles, fighting with all her strength, and ultimately finding resolution only when she lets go.
The film was built from a series of still compositions designed in Photoshop, which served as the visual foundation for AI-generated animation. The result is a smooth, atmospheric motion that grows out of static imagery - a blend of control and unpredictability, mirroring the story's themes.
